Product description
iglide® C300 – round bar
A chemical-resistant, low-friction triboplastic for demanding environments, iglide® C300 delivers very high wear resistance with low moisture uptake and remains dimensionally stable even under high loads (up to ~8,700 psi). It performs reliably up to 302°F in dry-running service for custom bushings, spacers, and wear elements in harsh media.

When to use it: For chemically aggressive environments, elevated temperatures, and long service life in dry-running round parts.
When not to use it: For food-grade compliance, see A160 or A180; for highest temperature plus chemical extremes, see X; for heavy abrasion or higher compressive loads, consider W300 or Q2; for ESD-sensitive areas, see F2 or F161.

Industry/Application Areas
  • Mechanical engineering
  • Automotive and assembly tooling
  • Conveyor and materials handling

igus® bar stock materials enable fast, flexible creation of custom components with standard tools or CNC machining. All iglide® bar stocks are self-lubricating and maintenance free, ideal for prototypes, low-volume runs, and geometries outside standard parts. igus® can also machine custom parts from bar stock with quick turnaround.

When to use bar stock

No matching size in the iglide® catalog
Small quantities or special dimensions
Tribo-optimized plastic needed for low friction and wear on a chosen counterface
High compressive strength or elasticity required
Rapid prototypes or design iterations
Nonstandard or complex geometries
When not to use bar stock

A standard iglide® catalog bearing fits
Very large volumes of one geometry (use standard parts or molding)
Tribo properties not required and a non-tribo plastic suffices
The full catalog of semi-finished products is available in the Downloads tab.

Note: Our bar stock is manufactured with excess dimensions.
