igus® E4.350 e-chain®
The 3000 HP modular offshore drilling rig has installed the world's largest plastic e-chain® on a cantilever boom and drill floor. Both energy chains were pre-assembled at the igus® factory in Cologne for a quick installation onto the drilling platform. The two travels of 57.4 ft for the cantilever and 26 ft for the drill floor carry a fill weight of approx. 134 lbs/ft.
