Tocardo relies on ourE4/4 series plasticenergy chain to guide cables safely from the turbine to the converter in the control cabinet, thereby maximising the service life of the system. The chain is corrosion-resistant, easy to install and quick to open.

On the OpenHydro tidal turbine, the combination of our e-chain® E4/4 with flexible chainflex® motor and signal cable ensures a safe energy supply when the turbine moves 20 metres into the depths. A metal chain could not be used in the aggressive sea conditions.
