A solution for media elevators previously unavailable in the market has now beenfulfilled with igus® e-chain systems® Cable Carriers. Until now, no supplier has been able to offer anelevator with minimum own weight to move heavy lifting loads of up to 50 kg overseveral metres of lifting height. The energy chain cable carrier deployed here also protects the cablesagainst damage and the viewer against the sight of loose cables. The use of plastic forthe chain and aluminium for the frame provide the minimum own weight of the mediaelevator.
