Durable and precise gear shift in the MG Rover

In a Rover, the gear lever was fitted with a rubber bearing as standard. However, as this wears out over time and creates too much clearance, another solution was used. With the use of igubal® spherical bearings, these problems have become a thing of the past. The bearings can withstand heavy loads and even under permanent stress they do not lose any of their precision.

Wear-resistant bearing of the gear shift in commercial vehicles

Our iglide® fixed flange bearings and thrust washers are used in this swing arm bearing of a deflected cab-mounted gear shift in the AXOR-C commercial vehicle from Daimler AG. The main goals achieved with the use of the bearings were to ensure that they are resistant to bending and durable and to permanently reduce the vibration-induced noise in the driver's cabin.
