Creating an economical production environment for displays is a challenge. Machines and equipment must comply with strict cleanroom regulations, achieve a high overall system effectiveness (OSE), have a space-saving design and be flexibly expandable - and all this with long travels of up to 16 metres. This is where products from igus come into play. Our cables and energy supply systems are made of high-performance polymers which are abrasion-resistant, so that almost no particles are released into the ambient air. Result: The patented zipper e-chain® system meets the required travel distance of about 290 mm, cycle numbers of 50-60 cycles per hour are achieved, usually in three-shift operation.
