Water-resistant lead screws & nuts for boat lifts, docks and interiors

Components across nearly all marine applications will come into contact with water. This is particularly true in boat lifts and docks, where lead screws for example can be entirely submerged in water for extended lengths of time. Boat lifts are one of the most important applications for lead screws, as a high load capacity is essential to be able to withstand the weight of the boat. Other applications include various moving components on the interior of a boat such as windows, adjustable television stands and seating adjustments.

dryspin® lead screws and nuts are ideal for these applications, as the high-performance polymers used in the nuts have a high weight capacity, low moisture absorption, and maintain good wear resistance in submerged applications.

The lead screws are available in both 304 and 316 stainless steel, so whether your application is used in freshwater or saltwater performance won’t be negatively impacted. Various IP-rated motors are also available to pair with our lead screws, creating an entire system with adequate water resistance.
