drylin® SHT-ZB actuators, similar to SHT-PL actuators, are designed to mitigate axial clearance. This is achieved with a zero-backlash lead screw nut. Radial bearing clearance can also be mitigated with an adjustable carriage. A standard SHT-ZB actuator utilizes a proprietary dryspin® high-helix lead screw with multiple starts. This allows higher speed performance than the single-start screws used in SHT-PL actuators. Unique configurations are available through the online drylin® linear actuator configurator. This online tool allows drylin® actuators to be configured in just a few simple steps, ensuring you receive the ideal system for your application.
