XXL 3D printer for house façades

A house from a 3D printer? This is no longer a utopia. The façade of the Dutch "Europe Building" in Amsterdam's Marine district was partially built in this way. The idea came from the architecture firm DUS, which also provides a mobile 3D printer for such work. The architects used both our gantry systems and engineering support in the production of the façade elements.

e-Scooter Lift

Deutsche Bahn's idea train is an initiative that presents new ideas for passenger transport. On the platform, the partner companies are developing specific concepts that show convenient transportation in the future. Arnold AG's lift for e-scooters now shows how to hang up the two-wheelers on a train and charge them directly as needed. Offshore Robotic Systems

The Norwegian company Remotion's robots use patented magnetic technology to work both above and below the waterline. They carry out difficult and dangerous operations such as inspections, offshore hull cleaning or the repair of surface structures under water or in the splash zone. The components have to withstand particularly harsh conditions. Remotion was able to solve the numerous problems with the help of igus® components. All components, such as the toothed belt actuator, the linear rail or the bearing parts, impressed with their low maintenance requirements and low weight.
