Cleanroom-compatible energy supply for high-speed SCARA applications

Based on the experience of the SCARA Cable Solution developed in 2020, a certified cleanroom variant is now available: the Clean SCARA Cable Solution. The optimized rotating mount connections allow up to ISO Class 2 (IPA-certified). In combination with the e-skin® design SKS20, which has been tried and tested in the highest cleanroom class, highly dynamic applications can also be implemented. The SKS20's proven zipper opening principle allows quick, easy cable filling. The new Clean SCARA Cable Solution is available in all known connections of the Standard SCARA Cable Solution.

Thanks to the excellent specifications of the e-skin® in the cleanroom, the Clean SCARA Cable Solution directly fulfils the cleanroom ISO Class 2 classification. This opens up new possibilities in the field of SCARA robotics for using one of these robots in the cleanroom.
The rotating bearing function of the standard SCARA Cable Solution has been adopted and adapted to the e-skin® energy supply. This means that the two SCARA Cable Solutions cannot be combined with each other.
