Cables guided with guide rollers
Still GmbH, a company that develops order pickers, uses chainflex® cables with guide rollers at a stroke height of 39 feet. The cables withstand very small bend radii and are extremely resistant to wear, thus preventing “corkscrews.”

Reduced downtime and maintenance costs
Lubricated bronze bearings were originally used in this lifting machine, causing dirt accumulation and failure. These bronze bearings were replaced with maintenance-free iglide® bearings designed for high loads, which have decreased maintenance costs and downtimes.

Linear technology for harsh working conditions
In the Lochmann Cabine S.R.L. forklift, traditionally-used guides were used, which were prone to shocks, vibrations and jams caused by dirt adherence. As a fix, drylin® linear guides were installed into the sliding doors. The drylin® guides successfully resisted shocks, vibrations and dirt.

The energy chain product line provides secure cable guidance. The chains are used in seating systems, where they ensure long service life even in the smallest installation spaces.

Special chainflex® cables were developed for transmitting data to cameras and monitors in industrial vehicles. The cables are oil-resistant, flame-retardant and can handle tensile strengths of 629 pounds.

No costs for lubrication and maintenance
iglidur® bar stock eliminate the need for lubrication of the fork tine suspension. As their material has excellent coefficients of friction, fork tines can be moved without problems. Downtimes due to lubrication and costs for lubricants are thus eliminated.
