Dental casting unit: Reliable closing

This casting unit is used for the production of dental restorations. As the alloys used can reach temperatures of several hundred degrees, a durable closing mechanism based on a drylin® W-profile guide is used.

The design engineers at Heraeus Kulzer opted for linear rails and linear housings from our drylin® W product line. The linear movement when opening and closing the vacuum pressure vessel significantly minimizes wear on the safety-relevant closure system. In addition, this measure has enabled the rotational movement of the entire chamber to be decoupled and shifted to the interior, thus minimizing the risk of injury.

Dental milling machine

Milling machines for CAD/CDM production can be found in dental laboratories, where they are used to produce dental prostheses with the highest precision.
