drylin® SHT-PL screw-driven linear actuators utilize a preloaded lead screw nut that mitigates axial clearance. Radial bearing clearance can also be reduced through the SHT-PL’s adjustable carriage. A standard SHT-PL actuator is available with trapezoidal (metric ACME) screws. If your application requires high-pitch lead screws, the SHT-ZB zero-backlash actuator is likely to be a better fit. As with all drylin® linear actuator systems, you can configure an SHT-PL actuator using the online drylin® linear actuator configuration tool. This configurator makes it as simple as possible to design a linear actuator with your specific application requirements in mind.
