Secure mounting brackets combined with triflex® R cable management for all cobots

All the parts you need to manage the cables on your Fanuc CRX cobot are now available in one convenient kit. Each kit comes with 6ft. of triflex® R TRE cable carrier links, which have a defined bend radius, built-in torsion stop and split internal cavity for cable separation. The kits also include either plastic or adjustable hook-and-loop mounting brackets, a strain relief bracket, lock clips, and a disassembly tool. The cobot kits work for various robot arm diameters and have universal applications. They can be easily assembled and retrofitted in just a few steps due to their compact, smooth design. They have virtually no edges to reduce the risk of injury, and they are silicon-free which is especially suitable for the automotive industry.

Installing a triflex® R dresspack on the FANUC CRX

Connection to axis 6:

To install the triflex R chain at the optimum distance from axis 6, we also offer the matching clamp.

It is fixed to the robot with two screws and the clamp also has 2 holes at the other end to install a mounting bracket TL.40.01.Z2

Connection to axis 1:

Each cobot clamp comes with 1m of hook and loop tape, which makes it possible to install it on axis 1 of the CRX. In this case, the mounting bracket is side-mounted on the clamp, thus ensuring a reliable connection between the cobot, clamp, hook and loop tape, mounting bracket and triflex® R chain.

In addition, the hook and loop tape has a non-slip, silicone-free coating on the inside, which further increases the grip on the robot.

The assembly of the energy supply system on the CRX robot is quick, easy and requires only a few tools (scissors, hexagon socket, screwdriver).

Intelligent plant monitoring with the Fanuc FIELD system and smart plastics

To evaluate data from machines and systems, FANUC, an international robot manufacturer, offers its "FIELD system" open industrial IoT platform. The system uses local network topology to connect production machines from all manufacturers, allowing comprehensive data analysis for the entire process chain.

This infrastructure uses apps from FANUC and third-party suppliers. The "smart plastics - i.Cee" app enables maintenance personnel to monitor the condition of their smart plastics components, such as energy chains and cables, and plan maintenance work in advance in the FIELD system.
