With smart plastics you have full control over your systems. smart plastics combine the high-performance plastics from igus with the latest sensor technology. The condition monitoring system i.Sense for status monitoring always consists of several components. Various sensors are available for machine data acquisition , depending on the application. This means that both mechanical factors such as tensile / shear forces and electrical factors such as the line quality can be recorded. With the connected i.Sense module in the control cabinet, all sensor data is evaluated and follow-up actions are triggered. This enables direct input into the machine control as well as location-independent Visualization in an online dashboard. This lays the foundations for condition-based maintenance in the smart factory.
